
Justin Betar is a amateur triathlete. Justin, is based in Sydney, Australia. Justin’s day job is in an office. He works long hours but likes to train hard with his training buddies. Justin loves his regular ride around the hills of Mosman and Neutral Bay and can regularly been seen on the road to West Head of a Saturday morning or to Gosford/Newcastle. Running and Swimming are favorite seconds to cycling.
Triathlon is a sport of balance - swimming, biking and
running. Justin is improving all three disciplines.
Justin has recently completed the Port Macquarie Ironman race in March
2010 recording an outstanding time of 13:22 hours and a personal
best. He has competed in the Australian Long Course Champs,
Huskison (aka Jarvis Bay Long Course) in February 2009 and attained his
PB in the Port Macquarie Half Ironman competition in November 2009.
Having a background in Law and being the principal of Betar Lawyers, Justin has
seen much success being coached by Bruce Thomas at Energy Link
Coaching. Now, trying to take his racing to another level, he
actively enjoys the training offered by the Balmoral Triathlon Club
of which he is a member and also with Kirribilli Runners.
2010 brings a full racing year which will include the Sun Herald Half
Marathon in May, various fun runs including the MS Fun Run, City 2
Surf, Pub 2 Pub, SpringCycle, MS Gong Ride and the Sydney Running
Festival Marathon in September.
